Current Updates & Events

My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine for their pain and suffering. Attacks in Ukraine are expected to devastate in-country food security. More than that, the World Food Programme has said the crisis will likely increase food and fuel costs and lead to critical food shortages in vulnerable regions around the world. I want to express my love and support to the people of Ukraine and take various actions to try and help. FMSC is working to provide meals to the afflicted in Ukraine & other crisis situations. If you'd like to fund meals to support the need in Ukraine visit:

Mental Health Awareness

Spring 2022 Giving Back Initiative

I have decided that as a part of my mission with Reclaiming Life Art, I want to give back even more and use my artwork even more for good and life-giving purposes. Reclaiming Life Art was developed out of my need for healing, transformation and the desperation to "Reclaim Life". Therefore, I have decided that I am going to be donating 50% of my proceeds earned from my art sales to Compassion International. So know, every time you purchase a piece of art from me, this is where 1/2 of the proceeds are going. Learn about Compassion International here:

Celebrating Earth Month!

A core value and component of Reclaiming Life Art is the strong connection with nature, and these influences are reflected in my artwork through the use of organic materials such as fall leaves, pinecones, and flowers combined with mediums such as acrylic paints.

Earth Day, on April 22nd, is a day meant to increase awareness of environmental problems, and time for many communities to gather together to clean up litter, plant trees, or simply reflect on the beauty of nature. Click here to view my nature-inspired art pieces.

Arbor Day, on April 30th, is a day that represents a hope for the future. The simple act of planting a tree represents a belief that the tree will grow to provide us with clean air and water, cooling shade, habitat for wildlife, healthier communities, and endless natural beauty — all for a better tomorrow.

Celebrating Women's History Month

Women’s History Month had its origins as a national celebration in 1981 when Congress passed Pub. L. 97-28 which authorized and requested the President to proclaim the week beginning March 7, 1982 as “Women’s History Week.” Throughout the next five years, Congress continued to pass joint resolutions designating a week in March as “Women’s History Week.” In 1987 after being petitioned by the National Women’s History Project, Congress passed Pub. L. 100-9 which designated the month of March 1987 as “Women’s History Month.” Between 1988 and 1994, Congress passed additional resolutions requesting and authorizing the President to proclaim March of each year as Women’s History Month. Since 1995, presidents have issued a series of annual proclamations designating the month of March as “Women’s History Month.” These proclamations celebrate the contributions women have made to the United States and recognize the specific achievements women have made over the course of American history in a variety of fields.
